Gerakan Ibu Muda Cerdas Gizi Melalui Pendampingan Intensif 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan: Strategi Pencegahan Stunting Berbasis Keluarga

Abstract

Stunting di kawasan peri-urban (pinggiran kota) sering kali bukan semata akibat deprivasi ekonomi, melainkan manifestasi dari rendahnya literasi pengasuhan yang diperburuk oleh fenomena pernikahan dini. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan merevitalisasi praktik Pemberian Makan Bayi dan Anak (PMBA) di Kelurahan Surabaya, Bengkulu, melalui strategi "Gerakan Ibu Cerdas Gizi". Menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), intervensi ini menawarkan kebaruan dengan mengintegrasikan edukasi visual, pelatihan tekstur Makanan Pendamping Air Susu Ibu (MP-ASI), dan advokasi budaya yang secara strategis melibatkan nenek sebagai pemegang otoritas pengasuhan tradisional dalam struktur extended family. Pendampingan intensif terhadap 30 ibu remaja dan keluarganya menunjukkan transformasi kognitif yang signifikan, ditandai dengan kenaikan skor pengetahuan dari 43,3 menjadi 83,3. Secara praktis, kepatuhan terhadap ketepatan tekstur MP-ASI meningkat tajam hingga 85%, sementara praktik pemberian makan dini (prelakteal) menurun drastis dari 43% menjadi hanya 5%. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pelibatan nenek adalah determinan vital untuk meruntuhkan hambatan kultural dan mitos gizi yang selama ini resisten. Model pendampingan berbasis keluarga ini direkomendasikan sebagai pendekatan strategis yang efektif untuk mitigasi stunting di wilayah dengan prevalensi pernikahan usia anak yang tinggi.
